Lots of fun stuff

We just got so much snow!!! It's still snowing right now. Matt helped people dig out of our parking lot this morning before heading off to work. It was a bunch of fun. Even the garbage truck got stuck. Matt and I woke up every hour last night to see if it was still snowing in hopes that pebble creek would open! It did and they open tomorrow. We were going to go snowboarding but he has to work so we will have to go after Christmas, but we can't wait. Well on to the pics. Here is my man building a snow cave for the kids. Matt and I played outside long after the kids got cold and went inside!

Here is Emma and Libbie inside the cave. They think it is awesome! Matt thinks it would be awesome if he and I slept in it tonight. I'll let you know if that happens:o)

Here is the boys packing all the snow.

We have some rad snow drifts around. This is a small one, but the kids had fun in it.

Warming up after the snow.

Owen has been sick and didn't last too long outside, but he loved coming in and having hot chocolate. The kids wanted to skip their date nights this week and have a family date night/ Christmas party. We had so much fun. We made stocking and painted Christmas decorations. Then we ate snacks and watched a movie. It was a blast. Here are the kids with their stockings.

Here is Libbie after painting. She wants to keep them forever!

Owen had more fun than I thought that he would. He is growing up so fast.

Emma is a bit of an artist. She really gets into her crafts. I think that it runs on both sides of the family.

Here is Noah painting. He did such a good job.

Here is Libbie hard at work.

Owen making Santa look good.

Emma and Noah made these candy canes for everyone in their class. In the end we made over 50 of these. Matt was home when we did it and that was a big help. Libbie made some too and we took her around to her friends and she handed them out.

Here are the kids with all their hard work. Matt made these holders for us so that we could get all those candy canes to school=)

Here is Emma at her Christmas party telling the class about the treats that she made.

Here is Noah handing out his treats. They were a big hit with both of their classes.
Here is Emma singing in her Christmas program.

Here is Noah in his Program. It was so cute:o)
Here is Libbie with a basket of gifts for our friends. It was about 4 with the wind chill outside when we went out, but the kids had fun and worked hard handing them out.

So we have had a bunch of fun in the last little while. We are looking forward to Christmas and wish you all the best in the new year!

Fun at the Walker's

I have always wanted to twist balloons. So a while back my mom and dad got me a how to twist balloons book. We have had fun making dogs and dragon flies, flowers and air planes, but the kids favorite is swords!

No children were harmed in the making of this film!

Noah's Baptism

Noah's baptism was this last Saturday. It is hard to believe that he is 8 and getting so old. It was an amazing experience and we are so proud of his choice to be baptized! It was so much fun to see family and friends, overall it was a great weekend:o)Noah got this picture from his best friend Isaac of Jesus and John the Baptist. He loves it. Here is the family.A crazy family picture.
Matt and I gave Noah grown up scriptures, then last night when we were reading scriptures Owen said "You go in the water, you get a book" it was cute:o)

Some other things we've been doing.... Emma proud of her snow ball. Here is Nicholas helping (or not helping) Grandma Walker build a snowman. The kids on Family home evening making a craft for the tree. There was glitter all over the house but it was fun. Here is Owen just being cute.

Noah's Birthday Party

Another birthday done. We had Noah's party a week early because my mom goes into the hospital next week. He was OK with the early party :o) Noah and his friends went mini black light golfing for his birthday, so we thought that this golf cake was perfect for the party. It's hard to see in the picture but Matt made a sweet apple tree!! Here is Noah opening his presents.

Here is Emma playing a game at the fun zone.

Here they are golfing. It was a ton of fun and they were all so good!
When we got back home the kids played video games before their parents came to get them. They were all such good kids and I have never had such a fun but calm birthday! It was great.

Noah saw this bike a few months ago and wanted it so bad. Matt went back to the store that day and picked it up. It has been at my moms house! Thanks mom for keeping the secret:o)

Here is Owen with his finished Turkey.

Libbie working hard on her turkey.

I've been trying to get all my Christmas crafts done before the snow starts to fall. Here are a few of the things I've been doing. Some I can't show because they are gifts:o)

Theses blocks cost less than $3.00 to make! Sweet.

Owens a big boy... and more halloween

My little boy is a big boy now. He is now officially potty trained. He even went to church today in his big boy underpants (with church clothes over top) and stayed dry. We did have to take him to the potty three times. I am so happy. He has been the longest to potty train. Now we have no kids in diapers! What am I going to do now. Maybe it's time for another one... or maybe we will just enjoy this for awhile. Here is Emma at her school Halloween party. The kids and I were at school all day with Noah and Emma having parties. It is going to be crazy next year with three of the kids in school.
Here is Emma after Trick or treating. The kids had fun looking at all their candy and trading what they did not want. We all slept downstairs that night and watched movies. It was the best Halloween ever.
The managers of our apartments are awesome and set up the club house with a fog machine and strobe lights. The kids had a ton of fun.
It took us about 5 minutes to talk the kids into going into this house to get some candy. In the end I think only Noah and Emma went in!
Here is Owen all dressed up. He is so cute!
Here are the kids walking up to grandma's house. They had so much fun!
Here is our dinner table all set to go.

Here is Libbie with her pumpkin sandwich.

The day after Halloween is always fun. We let the kids smash their own pumpkins. Some kids that live next door came over and told us we were the coolest parents ever, and Matt said that he would have to agree.
Owen tried and tried. In the end Matt had to help him.
Emma did a great job and needed no help from mom and dad this year.
