Some sad news

At Lindsay's last doctor's appointment the doctor had a hard time finding the baby's heart beat. Since we were 13 weeks along and since this happened with her second miscarriage the doctor ordered an ultra sound. We found out there that the baby had passed a week earlier. It was so sad. The kids were with us. They were so excited to see the baby's little hands and feet. They were so upset when we told them that the baby had passed away. The poor ultra sound tech. It was hard for everyone. The kids are happy that Grandpa McMullin is in heaven and can take care of our little one until we get the chance. What a blessing the gospel is. To know without a doubt that we can be together forever. And what a blessing our kids are. We are so lucky to have them! Lindsay is doing well and is going in to the hospital on Monday, so she will be out for awhile. Our friends are AMAZING and have dinners lined up for us and are helping to take the kids. Grandma is here to help and we just feel so blessed!

Camping fun

So far in June the boys went to Fathers and Sons and our family went camping (not the kind that Matt would really like to do, a 50 mile hike or something like that) but we drove up to the mink creek area and did some drive in camping. It turns out that it was good we drove in because at around 9:00 that night Owen barfed all over. So we packed up and spent the next week with sick kids. It wasn't the best trip ever but we really did have fun and we are just waiting to be brave enough to try it again :o)
Emma loved camping, and being an indoor girl we were very proud of how well she did.

Here is Owen a few hour before he got sick. He looks so happy, you would never think that he was sick. I guess he had too many smores!

The kids loved making smores (well they liked to catch things on fire and watch Dad play in the fire).
The dog did well on our trip. Nicholas was a bit cold and had to be in a blanket by the fire, but other than that he seemed to enjoy being outside.
