Summer is almost done :o(

How sad that school starts next week and our staying out all day long is almost over. Noah and Emma are really looking forward to school, Matt on the other hand is not as excited! We've been doing a bunch of fun stuff, so here is a lot of pictures of all of it.

Emma has to take a stuffed animal every where she goes.
Here is our little family camping. You can't tell in this picture but we are SO dirty :o)
Here are our awsome neighbors. We had a blast with them. For going camping with 6 kids, and no one went to the ER I'd say we did really well. (I know that Matt and I aren't the tallest people in the world but man look how short we are:o)
I had to put this one on because if you know Owen you know how rare it is to see him clean!! So this is on here just so every one can see that it does happen... just not often!
Noah climbing again, he is getting the hang of it.
Libbie and Owen looking at a train. It is really far away but the kids love to look for it.
Here are the kids camping. This was about 10:30 at night. Libbie was tired but Owen who needs no sleep was still ready to go!

The kids love their sand box and now it is even better! We found blue sand at the store and it is a big hit. Just this morning Matt and I found blue sand in our bed, oh well it's still cool.
Here is a close up.
Libbie getting ready for a big swim. She looks like she should be in the olympics:o)
Matt has been paint balling with some guys from our apartments. Round two is Monday! Just to let you know it took a lot for me to get them to stand here for a picture. I think they thought that they were too manly to pose, but they are nice and let me get one picture for the blog :o)
Here is Owen just being a boy. He loves to drive his little truck in the back of his big one...So cute.

Here is Libbie holding Hannah our new little baby.

The kids at the parade.
Matt was able to baptize my nephew Jared. It was so neat to be there, and the kids thought it was pretty neat to watch their Dad baptize their cousin.

We were worried that Nick would have a hard time on the trip but as the picture shows he was very relaxed and happy on the drive! As long as that dog is with his family he is always happy.

Pool Time!

We are teaching Nicholas to have fun in the water. He was getting better at getting in and playing but then took a step back when he fell head first as he was trying to get in. Oh well

Noah loves doing tricks. I think that he has out grown the kid pool and wishes we were in California where some big pools are ;o)Owen has so much fun in the pool!

Washington

So it's been awhile since I have done anything on my blog. People are starting to get mad :o) So the day after we got back from washington I had some complications from my first D&C and ended up in the emergency room. I had to have another and the recovery this time has taken much longer. We are all doing better now and are getting back into the swing of things. Matt is letting us get a new little puppy and the kids and I are so excited. Matt also got a new calling as executive secretary so he is going to be very busy. Anyway, here are pictures of the kids and stuff on our trip. It's a little late but oh well, here ya go...
We got to go to a Mariners game. Regan and Aaron took us and it was a blast. The kids had more fun then I ever thougth they could! Here is one of Matt, just because I think he looks so good :o) Sorry Matt!
Here is Owen after dinner at a 50's diner. It was kids eat free night!!!!

Here is my sister Regan and Libbie.

Dad and Owen cheering for the Mariners.

Here are the kids at the park. We use to bring Noah here all the time when he was little and build little boats.

The kids are waiting for some guys to jump off the falls.

The family and Grandma Walker...

Here are Libbie and Noah walking on some of the interurban trails. I use to run here all the time :o) Here is our little family...
Grandma helped the kids make these bugs, then they raced them. They had so much fun!

Here is Libbie picking strawberries at Grandma Walkers house.

Noah had fun picking up starfish at the beach.

The kids liked climbing around on the rocks, but were surprised that there is not much sand on the beach in Washington.

Some sad news

At Lindsay's last doctor's appointment the doctor had a hard time finding the baby's heart beat. Since we were 13 weeks along and since this happened with her second miscarriage the doctor ordered an ultra sound. We found out there that the baby had passed a week earlier. It was so sad. The kids were with us. They were so excited to see the baby's little hands and feet. They were so upset when we told them that the baby had passed away. The poor ultra sound tech. It was hard for everyone. The kids are happy that Grandpa McMullin is in heaven and can take care of our little one until we get the chance. What a blessing the gospel is. To know without a doubt that we can be together forever. And what a blessing our kids are. We are so lucky to have them! Lindsay is doing well and is going in to the hospital on Monday, so she will be out for awhile. Our friends are AMAZING and have dinners lined up for us and are helping to take the kids. Grandma is here to help and we just feel so blessed!

Camping fun

So far in June the boys went to Fathers and Sons and our family went camping (not the kind that Matt would really like to do, a 50 mile hike or something like that) but we drove up to the mink creek area and did some drive in camping. It turns out that it was good we drove in because at around 9:00 that night Owen barfed all over. So we packed up and spent the next week with sick kids. It wasn't the best trip ever but we really did have fun and we are just waiting to be brave enough to try it again :o)
Emma loved camping, and being an indoor girl we were very proud of how well she did.

Here is Owen a few hour before he got sick. He looks so happy, you would never think that he was sick. I guess he had too many smores!

The kids loved making smores (well they liked to catch things on fire and watch Dad play in the fire).
The dog did well on our trip. Nicholas was a bit cold and had to be in a blanket by the fire, but other than that he seemed to enjoy being outside.

Owen's Two

Owen's Two!!! It was a big day at our house. Owen had a lot of fun... and a lot of sugar :o) When we ask him how old he is now he says "Cake". We're working on it.

Once Owen opened this dump truck from my mom, he spent the rest of the day in it.

The kids were hoping that they would be able to help Owen out but he knew what to do, and after three tries he got it.

He is just growing up too fast, just like they all have.

And here is some other stuff we've been doing....

The fire station had an open house so the kids got to stop by and have some fun. I think that Matt had a lot of fun too ;o)

Here is Noah climbing at Ross Park. He is getting better every time we go.

Libbie had a bunch of fun, she thinks that it is more fun to hang then to climb ;o)

IT'S WARM!

OK, so it did snow on the first of May, but this weekend was nice! We got to play outside and just have fun together. Matt has his final on the 6th and then it's time to party. Here is a picture of the kids at Ross Park. Noah really wants to over come his fear of rock climbing so I think we will be heading back this week to climb.

The kids walking on the trails. Owen kept falling over so Matt was holding him :o)

Owen showing off his sweet rock climbing skills!

Noah was so happy when he made it to the top! I think that is why he wants to climb now. Matt is really happy about it :o)
So that is all that is going on for us right now. We are looking forward to the summer and the fun we are going to have. I guess that morning sickness has caught up with me so that is no fun. Matt is the greatest and takes such good care of me. It will be nice when he is home all the time!
